Theresa Virginia Lattea
Age 71, of 2259 Alum Fork Road Camden passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012 in United Hospital Center of Bridgeport following an extended illness.
She was born in Lewis County on January 13, 1941: daughter of the late William Smith and Hattie R. (Douglas) Smith.
On November 14, 1981, she married Joseph Lattea, who preceded her in death on August 04, 2002.
Mrs. Lattea is survived by three daughters: Virginia Tjaden of Arlington, VA, Bonnie Lou (Gary) Welch and Sarah Lowther and companion: Jay Hicks both of Weston and one son: James Radcliff of unknown. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Matthew Tjaden, Billy Metz, Brandy, Laura, Chelsea and Shannon Farley and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers: Lawson Smith of Weston, Bernard F Smith and Robert Lee Smith both of Jane Lew and Loren William Smith of Camden and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Joseph, Mrs. Lattea was preceded in death by one son: Wayne Harold Radcliff and two brothers: Leo “Pete” Smith and Brooks Smith.
Mrs. Lattea was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting and singing and praising the Lord in many ways. She loved her friends and family.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home on Monday, February 20, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating.
Interment will follow services in the Walnut Fork Cemetery of Camden, WV.
Hardman-Paletti Funeral home of Weston is in charge of arrangements for Theresa Virginia Lattea.
