Robert E. “Bob” Donaldson, Jr.
of Sheperdsville, KY departed this life on February 07, 2012 following a 3 year battle with brain cancer.
Bob was born on October 26, 1981 to Joyce Fisher Donaldson of Amherst, Ohio (formerly of Weston, WV) and Robert Donaldson of Bloomfield, KY.
He was married to Jessica Dilley who survives along with one daughter, Hailey (age 6), two sons; Tyler (age 13) and Baby Bob (age 4).
Bob is survived by one brother William R. Donaldson (Kathy) of Elyria, Ohio and one sister Carrie Donaldson (James) of Amherst, Ohio; several Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kessler and Frances Fisher of Weston WV and paternal grandparents, William R. and Maxine West Donaldson of Grafton, Ohio (formerly of Weston, WV).
Mr. Donaldson was self-employed as a carpenter specializing in trim work and worked for the city Department of Sheperdsville, KY. He took a lot of pride in his work. He always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. Bob enjoyed kick-boxing, riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing and was a coach for T-Ball baseball team. Bob was most proud of his family and the love and joy they brought to him.
Family and friends were received on Thursday, February 09, 2012 at the McFarland-Troutman Funeral Home in Mount Washington, KY with funeral services held on Friday, February 10, 2012.
Interment was at the Mount Washington Cemetery.
