The West Virginia State Farm Museum will host an Antique Gas Engine Show Saturday and Sunday, May 05-06, 2012, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day at the museum grounds, just north of Point Pleasant, WV.
“The State Farm Museum is one of West Virginia’s hidden treasures, and these special events are a great time to visit it,” said Commissioner of Agriculture Gus R. Douglass. “The museum’s exhibits and the heritage events it sponsors are a living link to our past.”
The show will also feature a sawmill demonstration, church services in the log church Sunday morning with Larry Powell, and musical performances.
Dewey Taylor will perform Saturday at 11:30 AM.
A gospel sing featuring New Salvation, New Revelators, Charley and Ellen Rife and the Bledsoe Family will be held Sunday at 1:30 PM.
The museum’s country store and country kitchen will both be open throughout the event.
