WV Native Saban Wins Third National Title

Alabama head coach and Marion County native Nick Saban becomes the first head coach to win three BCS National Championships.

Saban won this third title on Monday night when the Crimson Tide defeated LSU 21-0.

That was Alabama’s second National Title in the last three seasons.

Saban has won two titles with the Crimson Tide and won his first championship with LSU back in 2003.

The Crimson Tide dominated Saban’s former team on Monday night.

Alabama’s defense shut out the Tigers and held them to under 100 yards of total offense.

Saban’s record at Alabama now stands at 55-12.
