Howard Eugene Stout

Age 73, of Burnsville, WV passed away at home on May 30, 2012 after a short illness.

Gene was born on August 11, 1938 in Jane Lew, WV a son of the late Lonnie and Sarah Perkins Stout.

He was retired from the WV Department of Highways.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Helen L. Stout; two sisters, Mona Facemire and Garnett Smarr; six brothers, Richard, Harry, Murl, Russell, Burt and Dencil.

Gene is survived by two sons, Dywayne Stout and his wife Judy of Franklin, WV and Scottie Stout and his wife Lisa of Orlando, WV; three grandchildren, Tyler Stout, Bryan Stout and Katie Stout and one great-grandchild, Harmony. Also surviving are two brothers, Donnie Stout of Florida and Clarence Stout of Flatwoods, WV.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 02, 2012 at Stockert-Sizemore Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Rev. Donnie Stout officiating.

Burial was in Stout Cemetery in Flatwoods.

Friends called from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
