Delmas Brenton Wiant

Age 69, of 61 Archwood Lane Weston, WV passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 in Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital of Weston following an extended illness.

He was born in Lewis County on September 29, 1942: son of the late Arnett Warner Wiant and Mary Magdaline (Neal) Warner.

On April 8, 1967, he married Carol Jane (Hefner) Wiant, who survives.

He is also survived by three daughters: Teresa Lunsford and companion David and Kimberly (Ronald) Morris both of Weston and Angela Wiant and companion Charlie of Camden and one son Brenton Wiant of Alexandria, VA. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren: Robert Michael Metz, Charissa Jane Jordan, Joshua Lee Lunsford, Tyler Ray Lunsford, Mary Abiline Lunsford and Aaron Lee Lunsford, four brothers: Roscoe Clinton Wiant, Arnett Clayton Wiant, Layman Dawayne Wiant and Kenneth Arville Wiant and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Glendon Bradley Wiant.

Mr. Wiant worked in Heating and Cooling for Fornash Lumber Company of Weston. He loved constructing things and working with electric.

Brenton was a member of Bealls Mill Church.

He loved to hunt and watch the news on TV.

Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Carl Mouser officiating.

Interment will follow services in the Hiney Cemetery in Gilmer County.

Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home of Weston is in charge of arrangements for Delmas Brebton Wiant.
