Pearl Mavis Eagle

Age 90, of 157 John Street Weston, WV, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born in Braxton county on June 11, 1922: daughter of the late Jessie James Corad and Roxie R. (Williams) Conrad.

Mrs. Eagle was married to Roy L. Eagle, Sr., who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Eagle is suvived by three children: Betty J. (Roy) Blake, Eugene L. (Martha) Eagle, Sr. and Roy L. (Candy) Eagle, Jr. all of Weston, 22 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother: Wilbert Conrad of Roanoke, one sister: Gladys Blake of Raccoon Run in Lewis County and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Roy, Mrs. Eagle was preceded in death by three sisters: Rosietta Turner, Carrie Detamore and Elsie Clem.

Mrs. Eagle was a retried glass-worker with the Louie Glass Factory of Weston.

She attended the St Paul’s Episcopal Church whe she was younger.

Family and friends were received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Monday, June 18, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Randall Hughes officiating.

Interment will follow services in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens of Jane Lew, WV.

Hardman- Paletti Funeral Home of Weston is in charge of arrangements for Pearl Mavis Eagle.
