Mary C. Hamric

Age 82, of Parkersburg, (formerly of Harrisville), was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on February 10, 2012 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus, Parkersburg, WV.

She died peacefully with her family by her side.

She was born March 05, 1929 in Harrisville, a daughter of the late John B. and Ena (Six) Tustin.

She was retired from the state of West Virginia where she served as a target market specialist. She graduated from Cairo High School with the class of 1947.

She was a member of the Cairo Baptist Church and the American Baptist Association.

She greatly enjoyed gardening and canning and for the past six years has been a resident of Ohio Valley Healthcare of Parkersburg.

She is survived by her one son, Jeffrey Hamric (Linda), of Davisville; one sister, Helen Mason of Tallmadge, OH, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenny Hamric; three sisters, Hazel McNeal, Elizabeth “Betty” Perkins, Ruth Henthorn; brothers, Earl “Bud” and Jerry Tustin, and a niece and nephew.

Funeral services were 1:00 PM, Monday, February 13, 2012 at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville with Pastor Frank Vannoy officiating.

Burial followed in the Harrisville IOOF Cemetery.

Friends called the funeral home on Sunday, February 12, 2012, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM / 6:00 - 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mary’s name be made to the Cairo Baptist Church, RR1 Box 292, Cairo, WV, 26337.
