Age 85 of 616 West 2nd Street, Weston, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012 at her residences following an extended illness.
She was born on November 01, 1926: daughter of the late Dewey L. Moody and Alice P. (West) Moody.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Moneypenny on April 06, 1984.
Irene is survived by two brothers Kendall Moody of Weston, Austin Moody and wife Tina of Keystone Heights, Florida, and two sisters Verna E. Everett Stewartstown, Pennsylvania Roberta King of Weston.
Irene is also survived by several nieces and Nephews, and one special care giver Darrell Foster.
Irene was Methodist by faith. She attended the Broad Street United Methodist Church.
Irene was a graduate of Weston High School with class of 1945. Irene worked in many different fields she worked as a nurse aid, sales associate for Secret Furniture, and her and her husband where one time co-owners of M & M Motors where she held the position of manager.
Family will receive friends at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 North Main Avenue, Weston on Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM.
Funeral services will follow visitation and be held from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clifford West officiating.
Interment will follow funeral services in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Broad Street United Methodist Church in memory of Irene Moneypenny.
