Howard Rafferty
Age 72, of WV Hwy 5 East, Grantsville, WV, passed away February 11, 2012 at his home after a long illness.
He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church of Grantsville, was a retired machinist by trade, a pilot and most of all a servant of Jesus Christ.
He was born September 11, 1939 at Holt Run in Gilmer County a son of the late Clark and Beryl Radabaugh Rafferty.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Sheryl Rafferty; 2 sons, Mathew of Akron OH and Ben of Grantsville; a daughter, Erin Sorencen (Eric) of Corona CA; a sister, Judy Malloney (Tom) of Little River SC; a brother, Gary Rafferty (Sherri) of Barberton OH; sister-in-law, Judy Rafferty of Long Beach CA; stepmother, Doris Vineyard Rafferty.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Rafferty.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Johnson officiating.
Interment will be in Turner Cemetery at Lockney.
Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the services.
