Veterans Cemetery Dedicated on Memorial Day
West Virginia’s new $14.1 million Veterans Cemetery has been dedicated at a Memorial Day ceremony in Institute.
The Donel Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery has the capacity to serve as the final resting place for about 60,000 veterans.
Senator Jay Rockefeller helped dedicate the cemetery Monday afternoon, saying the warmth and comfort of our homes are bought with the sacrifice of those who will one day be buried there.
