To: SBA Board Members, Jorea Marple and Governor Tomblin, Mark Manchin, Kurt Dettinger
From: Citizens of Gilmer Co.
No, of Pages: 5
Following is a fax of signatures from people in the Normantown/Rosedale area of Gilmer County. Each one represents an informed member of the community in which they live. Many of these people have children at Normantown Elementary. All are taxpayers. Some are voters, as well.
Please acknowledge these voices.
We all look forward to Monday when the awards will be announced.
I, personally, as a taxpayer, mother and proud West Virginian and Gilmer Countian, ask that you make it known that you do not support deals made in secret with no public input.
Sincerely,

This is a situation the underground press was on as long as five years back.
Several of the websites, the Judge Facemire, and Hough, and others that banned together to get off the internet discussed these issues investigated the criminal act of burning down the Auction Barn.
The SSC and the local CCC predicted this action years ago,and now here we are, under a bad circumstance put on all citizens of Gilmer County by a select few for personal gain.
We need ALL NEW County Commissioners, a new prosecutor, a new Commission Clerk, and we have been under the thumb of law enforcement, especially the Sheriff’s Department that has not even come close to doing their job.
The Sheriff could not do his job because he was too busy covering up major crimes.

I read through the new school proposal. Did I miss something? The total cost of upgrading schools to current standards is $3,300,000. less expensive than the cost of building a new school that is unwanted by many and unnecessary. With work and money in short supply why are we spending over $3 million that is not necessary? Just wondering what the justification is?
