Gilmer County Clerk: PUBLIC NOTICE – 04.24.12

DUE TO STATEWIDE REDISTRICTING AND TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH WEST VIRGINIA STATE CODE REQUIREMENTS, PRECINCT 20, GLENVILLE CORPORATION (CITY LIMITS), HAS BEEN CHANGED TO PRECINCT 16 WITH VOTING IN THE COMMONS AREA OF THE GILMER COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL.

THE COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE IS NOTIFYING VOTERS OF THE CHANGE AND IS ISSUING THEM NEW VOTER REGISTRATION CARDS.

PRECINCT 20 OUTSIDE GLENVILLE CORPORATION, (CITY LIMITS) WILL STILL BE VOTING AT THE COURTHOUSE.

EARLY VOTING WILL BEGIN ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25, 2012 THROUGH MAY 04, 2012 WITH REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS OF 8:00 AM TO 4:00 PM AND TWO SATURDAYS APRIL 28, 2012 AND MAY 05, 2012 WITH THE HOURS OF 9:00 AM TO 5:00 PM.

There really are legal requirements for advertising, especially for elections! I’m sure it applies to notifying the public of precinct changes.  It wasn’t even in the paper they tested the voting machines Tuesday evening. Thought they were getting everything but early voting out of the courthouse. Are they trying to keep Carol Wolfe out of office, it’s her precinct you know.
Shoot, the ballots only came out one week before early vote starts.  Big money for an administrator now and Commissioner Ramsey has to be there every day.

We need to establish a independent party in this county.This party could consist of normal people who can get on the BOE to help our children and school,be a good sheriff,a good county clerk. This county will never prosper as long as the big money DEMOCRATS run it. It’s just a few of people in this county that wants to run it. Our corruption comes from the democrat puppets they install in our court house and school system .Don’t get me wrong i mean nothing toward democrat or republican it just the corrupt that runs it. IT doesn’t matter your party you DO NOT have to vote the corrupt back in. AS long a you support the big money in your party you are supporting the corruption you are bi**hing about. So don’t b**ch and complain when you do it again .
