Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center: Welding Technology Student Certification
Students received certification at Calhoun Gilmer Career Center.
Brandon Summers
Brandon Summers received a certification in Stick Plate. This was his first year of welding.
He worked very hard to pass this test.
Cory Metz
Cory Metz received his second certification this year in stick plate.
Last year he received his stick plate.
“Congratulations to both young men for their hard work. I am very proud of both of their efforts.”, said Carl J. Collins the Welding Technology instructor at the Center.
In addition, several students have created some great Ornamental Art projects using the new Computer operated plasma table.
It allows students to create and cut out art projects from images, pictures, or draw their own from the art package.
All of the students have enjoyed working with this new technology.
