Braxton County Students Recognized at GSC Honors Convocation
Thirty students received Academic Achievement Awards at the 2012 Glenville State College Honors Convocation held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom.
The awards recognized students who have demonstrated exceptional academic accomplishments, made contributions to the Glenville State College Community, and have distinguished themselves among their peers, the faculty, and staff.

Jessica Stout receives her award from Dr. John Taylor,
GSC Professor of Education
The GSC Department of Land Resources honored senior Maranda D. Frame of Sutton with an Academic Award.
Senior Jessica E. Stout of Gassaway received an Academic Achievement Award from the GSC Department of Education.
“This event provides for an opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of our students in specific fields of study as well as their contributions to the co-curricular programs of the college. It is also an opportunity to acknowledge the centrality of Glenville State College’s holistic approach to educating the next generation for positions of leadership,“ said Dr. John Peek, GSC Provost and Senior Vice President.
