Braxton County: Sutton Lake Gate Damaged by Vandals

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering a reward for an arrest in the damage to a wooden gate at Sutton Lake.
On Tuesday night, June 19, 2012, someone vandalized the gate at the downstream day-use area outflow training wall, below the Sutton Dam, according to a statement issued by the corps.
The statement did not say how badly the gate was damaged.
Anyone with information is asked to call Corps Watch at 1.866.413.7970.
Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for rewards up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction, the statement said.
