Moore and Snyder Represent Gilmer County at WV Girls State

Cheyenne Moore and Kaylene Snyder were selected to represent Gilmer County at 2018 American Legion Rhododendron Girls State.

Girls State is a week long camp that introduces young ladies to the inner workings of state and local government.

Citizenship, leadership, patriotism and volunteerism are aspects the camp promotes.

This year it is being held on the campus of Davis & Elkins College.

The camp runs from June 10-15.

Moore and Snyder are sponsored by the Glenville Women’s Club.

Moore is the daughter of James and Angela Moore of Cedarville, WV.

Snyder is the daughter of Jim and Kris Snyder of Glenville, WV.
