The Gilmer Free Press

A photographic history of the Glenville State College campus is currently being featured in the Glenville State College Fine Arts Gallery. ‘GSC, 140Years of a Changing Landscape’ will be on display through August 24, 2012.

The exhibit consists of over seventy-five photographs reflecting the history of campus facilities from Lively Hall, the first building, to the present construction of the new ‘Pioneer Center’ on Mineral Road.

The photographs are from the GSC archives and the personal collection of retired GSC employee Joe Wilmoth.

An official opening reception for the exhibit will take place in the GSC Fine Arts Gallery on August 13, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Light refreshments will be served.

The show will be open to the public Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and one hour before all GSC Fine Arts events.
