Nascar’s Labonte To Honor WV’s Fallen Miners

Bobby Labonte will honor the 29 fallen miners in the Upper Big Branch tragedy by wearing a special paint scheme on his car during the Coca Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Labonte drives the No. 71 Chevrolet for TRG Motorsports.
The NASCAR driver is hoping to raise awareness and hopefully raise money for the families.
Labonte partnered with the Upper Big Branch Family Fund, started by WVU head basketball coach Bob Huggins, to raise money for the families who lost loved ones in the mine explosion.
Labonte has family in both West Virginia and Kentucky that work in the coal mines.
