John Gilbert Saeler
Age 79, of Jane Lew, died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at his home.
He was born June 14, 1931, the son of the late Gilbert L. and Martha McWhorter Saeler.
He was married at Weston October 13, 1951, to Genevieve Williams, who survives.
He is also survived by one son, David Lynn Saeler and wife Deena of Jane Lew; two daughters, Virginia Sue Sholes and husband Buzz of Jane Lew and Patty Casey and husband Patrick of Jane Lew; one brother, Charles Saeler and wife Julie of Ellerslie, Md.; two sisters, Margie Burkett of Frederick, Md., and Marcia Thompson of Hyndman, Pa.; four grandchildren, Davette Saeler of Jane Lew, Lori Helstab and husband Matt of Salem, Ore., Sarah Casey and Emily Casey, both of Jane Lew; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Saeler was a mechanic and a Methodist by faith.
Private family grave services were held Wednesday morning, July 28, at the Broad Run Cemetery with Rev. Roger McKee officiating. Burial will be in the Broad Run Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are to be sent to Peoples Hospice, c/o United Hospital Center, 3 Hospital Plaza, Clarksburg, WV 26301.
