Edwin Lynn “Eddie” Mayo

Age 51, of 1450 Limestone Road Weston, WV passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in Crestview Nursing Home of Jane Lew following an extended illness.

He was born in Lewis County on April 15, 1961: son of the late Arden Mayo and Mary Rosella (Queen) Mayo and was raised by his grandmother, the late Ocie Queen.

Eddie is survived by one daughter: Brandi Mayo O’Meara of Buckhannon, one son: Edwin L. “Little Eddie” Mayo of Weston and one grandchild: Tyson Gage O’Meara.

He is also survived by two brothers: Mike Queen and Clinton Mayo both of Weston, three sisters: Arlene Lough of Buckhannon, Nancy Pugh and Sheila Pumphrey both of Weston and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are special aunt and uncle: Olen and Becky Queen, special friends: Ronnie and Dot James and fiancé: Debbie Gum.

Eddie was the owner of M & M Contracting of Weston. He was a 1979 graduate of Lewis County High School. He loved hunting, riding his 4-wheeler, and spending time with his family.

At Eddie’s request, there will be no visitation or services.

There will be a private graveside service at the convenience of the family.

Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home of Weston is in charge of arrangements for Edwin Lynn “Eddie” Mayo.
