Tragic Accident Kills Two GSC Students

Two Glenville State College students are dead after a single vehicle accident on Route 33 West in Barbour County, just before 2:30pm Friday.
According to a statement from the Philippi detachment of the West Virginia State Police, Kyle Puffenbarger of Pendleton County and Brandi Bowen of Harrison County were killed in the wreck.
Cpl C.B. Shrader, Cpl. M.P. Denison and Sgt. J.A. White the investigators of the incident Said: Puffenbarger lost control of a 1998 Ford Explorer, which entered the median and began rolling several times before coming to a stop.
Victims were both transported to Davis Memorial Hospital, in Elkins, where Brandi Bowen was pronounced dead. Kyle Puffenbarger was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown by helicopter where he was pronounced dead.
Puffenbarger was a member of Glenville State’s football team. Bowen ran track for the school.
