Ronald J. Vanskiver

Age 72, of Pullman, WV, departed this life on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at his residence, following an extended illness.

Ronald was born August 15, 1946 in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Albert H. Vanskiver and Edith (Zimmerman) Zachman of Baltimore, MD.

For 36 years, Ronald worked as a radar technician for Westinghouse/Northrop Grumman and was a member of the Christ the King Lutheran Church of Owings Mills, MD. He greatly enjoyed hunting, coin collecting, and scuba diving and he was a world traveler of 27 countries and most of the 50 states.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Helen Marie (Cooper) Vanskiver; daughter, Lisa Marie Naumann (Kenneth) of Nottingham, MD; sisters, Janet Virginia Shanks of Baltimore, MD and Sandra Ann Johnson of Appomattox, VA; brother, Albert Howard Vanskiver of Pasadena,MD; grandchildren, Brielle Rae Charney of Baltimore, MD; Breanna Elizabeth Iseman of Joshua, TX; Jacob Daniel Naumann of Hubert, NC; Lindsay Marie Naumann of Raleigh, NC, and his aunt, Ruth Meyers of Baltimore, MD.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by sister, Lou Jean Luttrell and nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, WV.

A service will be conducted back in MD at the convenience of the family.
