Lewis County: Man Injured After Being Shot in Stomach

One man is in the hospital after being shot in the stomach by another man, Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies said.

A man shot Josh Davisson once while the two were along Route 19 South near Walkersville, deputies stated.

After the incident, Davisson was life lighted to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, and hospital officials said he has since been discharged.

The incident happened at about 9:30 PM on Friday, March 05, 2010.

Investigators know who shot Davisson, but said they are waiting to talk to Davisson about the incident, before arresting the man.
