Eagle Scout Community Service Project at Gilmer County Recreation Center

The Free Press WV

The Gilmer County Recreation Center is happy to help out a fellow Boy Scout to receive his Eagle Scout badge with his community service project.

Jake Butler is the scout advancing in the scouting program by doing this project at the Recreation Center.

It consists of ripping out block walls in the Potomac cabin showers running a new concrete floor in the shower so they can have 6 handicap cap shower stalls where before they had just one.

He and his troop have done a fantastic job for the Recreation Center.

We the Gilmer Recreation Center are so thankful for these young men and there dedication to our community.

Thank you
