Doddridge County: Warning of White Van Scam

Doddridge County Sheriff’s Department is warning the Doddridge County residents about a white Dodge Caravan with Pennsylvania tags.

The men inside the van are perpetuating a potential scam, a Sheriff Deputies said.

“The scammers are approaching the homes of women and the elderly, then attempting to sell them various items ranging from medical supplies to paper towels.”

However, Sheriff Department said this is a excuse to get into people’s homes and potentially steal from them later.

The Doddridge County Sheriff Department encourages anyone who is approached by these men to call 911 immediately.
