Stacil Alva Fox

Age 81, of Spencer, West Virginia died December 15, 2017 at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

She was born August 10, 1936 in Calhoun County, West Virginia a daughter of the late Earl and Betty Tucker May. She was a homemaker and formerly worked as a nurse’s aide at the Magnolia Care Center.

Stacil is survived by four daughters, Barb Fox and Mary Ann Fox, both of Spencer, Dotty Way of Bradenton, Florida, and Martha Kiser of Shreve, Ohio; one son, Donald Fox of Gay, West Virginia; one sister, Marie Short of Wooster, Ohio; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Dallas May, Jr. of Morgantown, West Virginia; and her most special best friend, Ed Donahue of Spencer. Additional precedents include her husband, Moras Fox; a son, Bill Fox; a grandson, Michael Phillips; and several brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Clover Cemetery near Spencer.

There will be a visitation from 11:00 AM until shortly before 1:00 PM when the funeral procession will leave the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME for Clover Cemetery.
