Patricia Irene Pyatt Jenkins “PJ”

Age 79, formerly of Cairo, WV, flew up to Heaven into the arms of Jesus to join her great granddaughter Cailyn Renea Lynch on October 13, 2018, after a long battle with Dementia/Alzheimers.

Patricia was born October 24, 1938 to Nathan Chester Pyatt and Clarestine Dulaney.

She leaves behind three sons, Rick, Randy (Cindy), and Rob (Mona) all of Vienna, WV; one sister, Jean (Sam) of Jacksonsville,FL; granddaughter, Jennifer Serpas of New Orleans, LA and her children, Jared, Troy Jr. and Hailey Eve; granddaughter, Stacy Lynch (Aaron) of Walker, WV and their children, Caleb, Caden, Colten, and Adalynn; grandson, Brandon Jenkins of Vienna, WV; granddaughter, Chyrse Jenkins of Vienna, WV and her daughter Kelsey; grandson, Steven Jenkins of Parkersburg, WV and his daughter Kamiron. Also a special thanks to nurse Jennifer Gibson for years of taking care of her princess.

Patricia worked for many years at the Ritchie Needle Garment Factory, was the mayor of Cairo, WV, and worked at H&R Block most of her life. Patricia enjoyed life and loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Stacy. They were two peas in a pod and made a lifetime of wonderful memories together. They even joked by calling themselves Dumb & Dumber. Patricia loved riding bikes on the North Bend Rail Trail, going to North Bend State Park, gardening, and running her Hillbilly Gift Shop. She loved animals, watching movies, reading, and collecting marbles and Dale Earnhardt stuff.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her lifelong companion of 37 years, Dale “Doc” Powell and her great granddaughter Cailyn Renea Lynch.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at the Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, WV with Pastor Randall Fusion officiating.

Burial will follow the service in the Cairo IOOF Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12 PM - 2 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
