Edith “Eadie” Joan Dallas

Age 67, of Jane Lew, WV passed away surrounded by loving family on Monday, March 11, 2019 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.

She was born on August 20, 1951 in Melrose Park, Illinois a daughter of the late Edward Joseph and Eunice Elizabeth Kangas Wendt.

On August 27, 1971 she married William “Bill” R. Dallas who preceded her in death on May 17, 2013.

Eadie is survived by three daughters: Estella Lane and husband, Josh, and Debra Burnside and husband, Curtis, both of Jane Lew, and Amanda Brantmayer of Bridgeton, NJ; seven grandchildren: Jay Bowman, Charles Dallas, Jessie Baker, Kayla Swick, Timmy Swick, and Cassie and Chase Brantmayer; and one brother, Edward Wendt and wife, Debra Lynn, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

Eadie’s family was her biggest joy. Part of that family included her canine companions. She spent much of her time training and showing them at competitions. Two pups that were dear to her heart are a Border Collie, Val, and an Aussie, Phatz. Eadie spent her spare time reading, crocheting, and knitting. She had an entire spare bedroom full of supplies and would make blankets, hats, gloves, socks, and much more.

Family and friends will gather at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service located at 144 Hackers Creek Road in Jane Lew from 3-5 PM on Friday, March 15, 2019.

Funeral Services will be held at 5 PM with Reverend Bill Coffindaffer officiating.

Following the services Eadie’s request for cremation will be honored.
