Kendall Goodwin

Age 65, of Pike, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at his residence, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Kendall was born February 14, 1953 in Pennsboro, WV, a son of the late Paul Kennith and Dorothy (Starkey) Goodwin.

He worked as an industrial painter as part of the Industrial Union of Painters and Allied Trades Local 1144 in Parkersburg, WV. He also drove dump truck and worked for Wells Concrete of Pennsboro, WV. Kendall was an ordained minister through House of Bread ministries. He greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the NRA. He also served as a Little League coach for the Pennsboro Cardinals and also served as Little League Commissioner. He had a very good sense of humor and he will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan F. (Lawrence) Goodwin; children, Shelly Ankrom of Pennsboro, WV; Craig Goodwin( Cindy) of West Union, WV; Anthony Todd Goodwin (Andrea) of Parkersburg, WV; Todd Lewis Hacker (Jessica) of Pennsboro, WV; Jay Cronin (Christina) of Mineral Wells, WV; grandchildren, John Ankrom; Jason Ankrom; Alayne Smith; Seth Cronin; Drew Cronin; Peyton Hacker; Seldon Goodwin; Kaytie Gillis; Natalie Gillis; several great grandchildren; brother, Terry Williams (Cathy) of Volga, WV; sister in law, Sandra Goodwin of Vienna, WV; very close friend who was like a son, Bryan Bunner (Kelsey) of Reader,WV; father and mother in law, Dave and Joanne Lawrence of Pennsboro, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bryce Goodwin.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, WV.

There will be a gathering of friends and family at a later date, at the convenience of the family.

So sorry to hear of Kendall’s passing. I have fond memories of him at Uncle Paul’s store and the family reunions. I’m sure he will be missed greatly by those closest to him.
